SWAPANOMICS

The AIPES Swapanomics mechanic is unique in the web3 space and was born almost by accident. Due to the exciting way that Kin revealed the AIPES artwork (multiple artwork refreshes over a 5 week period), once the final reveal was completed, the community felt they lost one of their favourite things about the project - the evolving art.

It turns out Kin wasn’t done creating new AIPES, so she developed a swap system that enabled less popular or uglier AIPES to be swapped out for brand new, never seen before AIPES. That’s how Swapanomics was born.

With Swapanomics, if you don’t vibe with you AIPE, you can have the artwork updated with different traits, a different style, and a different base BAYC/MAYC. Your old AIPES artwork will be cast into the abyss and will get a whole new AIPE to show off!.

There are a few ways to get involved in the swap process, and these are subject to change. As with almost everything in AIPES, our Discord will have the most up to date info. Here are the four ways you can participate in Swapanomics:

1. Swap zone. AIPES listed in the swap zone (currently 0.07-0.09eth) can be swapped out at Kin’s discretion. There is no guarantee or timeline on these swaps, and if she does refresh your AIPE in the swap zone, you’d best be quick to delist!

2. Bounty Swaps. Periodically Kin will announce a list of floor AIPES in Discord that now have a bounty on them. If bought and listed at the announced price, bounty AIPES will be guaranteed a swap at the next refresh.

3. Lookalikes Swap. There are some instances where Kin has used the same base BAYC/MAYC, but with a different AI Style. If you find you have a lookalike AIPE, a swap can be requested in Discord and the AIPE doesn’t need to be listed. Kin will replace your lookalike in a future swap.

4. White Monkey Pass. Not a standard swap, a White Monkey pass is a chance to work with Kin to create a personalised AIPE. If you are lucky enough to buy a specially marked White Monkey Pass, you will get to pick styles and traits you adore in a private chat with Kin. She will then work her magic and make one or more AIPES and make you pick just one! It can be a very hard choice! Holders of the White Monkey Pass not only get a personalized AIPE made especially for them, they sometimes enjoy extra perks, such as additional tickets for special AIPE raffles—and more. Just be aware not all WMPs will be the same but they’ll all be awesome!
